One the positive notes are that some of the scenes were hilarious, yet made Micheal Bay into a pervert (I have conflicting thoughts whether this is positive or negative). Lets recount the movie….

1.) When Frenzy was stealing important data from a computer it was as if he was orgasm.

2.) Barricade body slams Sam on top of a parked car in such a way that reminded me of a scene from Urotsukidoji 2 (a hentai dealing with giant demons).

3.) Frenzy striping Sams’ pants off.

4.) Sams’ mother talking about masturbation.

5.) Bumblebee giving an US agent a golden shower or oil shower (pick which ever you want).

6.) Megatron asking Sam to give him the Allspark and he’ll consider to make the human his pet (read Marque De Sade and you’ll see why).

7.) Using Megan Fox as nothing more than eye candy for sad little men. She had very few lines and terrible acting skills (she sucks), but people didn’t notice because they were too busy staring at her body and not her abilities as an actress (if anything she had turned back the clock on what qualifies to being a great actress). The chihuahua had better acting skills than she did. To tell you the truth I thought Megatron could have used her to bribe Sam into giving him the Allspark, but then again Hollywood made Megs into a retard. It didn’t bother me so much, due to the fact Micheal Bay treated everyone equality and treated everyone as eye candy and potential TF slaves, but Hollywood needs to know that the whole girl has to be hot and guy dorky is getting stale, though Mr. Bay noticed that and gotten Shia LaBouf to play as Sam, so in a way he is breaking that cycle.

Other funny scenes included Megatron being disappointed with Starscream…once again (at least Hollywood wasn’t so stupid at that). When Optimus Prime threaten the government agents to let Sam go. When Megatron ripped that annoying Jazz into two pieces. Oh yes and when Megatron flicked a human away from him and said “Disgusting.” Frenzy was a comic relief through out.

There were moments I hated and moments I liked. I would go see the sequel simply because Devastator is in it and Sam seeing Cybertronian scriptures in his mind(homage to the comics, who knows).

The writers and director had very little knowledge of the Transformers, and it showed in spades in the movie. There was no love of the source material, and reading their comments on the production displays their ignorance of the mythos.

Stupid gags, little homage to the original series, and poor villains make this a crappy Transformers movie. To me it was simply a movie about alien robots, but it was not Transformers.

I was very disappointed, and I am not planning to see the sequel.

Can’t believe i paid nearly £7 in the cinema… didn’t even get a megatron toy to take home!
